Refund and Returns Policy

 

Introduction

At Hotel Silver Oak Ooty, we strive to provide our guests with a pleasant and enjoyable experience. We understand that plans can change, and we have established a refund and cancellation policy to accommodate our guests’ needs. Please read our policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

 Cancellation Policy

Standard Reservations:

  • Cancellation up to 7 days before check-in: No cancellation charges. Full refund of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation between 7 days to 48 hours before check-in: 50% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before check-in or no-show: 100% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Non-Refundable Reservations:

  • These reservations are offered at a discounted rate and are not eligible for refunds or cancellations. The full booking amount will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show.

Group Reservations (5 or more rooms):

  • Cancellation up to 14 days before check-in: No cancellation charges. Full refund of the booking amount.
  • Cancellation between 14 days to 7 days before check-in: 50% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before check-in or no-show: 100% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Refund Policy

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation. The refunded amount will be credited to the original mode of payment used during the booking process. Please note that any bank charges or transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount.Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Modification Policy

Standard Reservations:

  • Modification up to 7 days before check-in: No modification charges. Subject to availability.
  • Modification between 7 days to 48 hours before check-in: 25% of the booking amount will be charged as a modification fee.
  • Modification less than 48 hours before check-in: Modifications are not allowed.

Non-Refundable Reservations:

  • Modifications are not allowed.

Group Reservations:

  • Please contact our reservations team directly for modifications. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Early Departure Policy

Guests who depart earlier than the booked dates will not be eligible for any refund.

Special Circumstances

In the event of natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances, Hotel Silver Oak Ooty reserves the right to waive cancellation fees or provide alternative options. Guests are encouraged to contact our reservations team for assistance in such cases.
